What is ALTI?

Our Leading Values

ALTI stands for Assent-Led and Trauma-Informed and it describes our approach to ABA. It comes from the perspective that recipients of behavior intervention are often the most vulnerable voice in the room; as such, they are the voice that should speak the loudest but are typically the quietest.

It is our clinical value that quality ABA focuses on the individual, their wants and needs, and follows their directive. Our team does so through the provision of trauma-informed care, with assent guiding us at every step.

About Me

Jenelle Bartlett, PhD, BCBA, LBA, IBA

Founder/Owner

I began my journey in behavior analysis accidentally in 2013. An undergraduate student in speech pathology, I wanted to learn more about working with clinical populations and, by chance, came across this thing called ABA. I fell in love with the science and the rest is, as they say, history!

After passing my BCBA exam in 2017, I began program management internationally. My position afforded me the opportunity to craft several high demand programs, and this was when I discovered my joy for consultation and training. By the time I began my doctorate in 2019, I found that my passion pulled me consistently towards consultation, mentorship, practicum supervision, project management, and community connectivity.

Clinically, I specialize in adolescent and adult services for Autistic individuals. My intervention style includes assent-led care, the PFA/SBT model, and Precision Teaching. Areas of research and interest for me include medically necessary desensitization, continuity of care for individuals with dual-diagnosis transitioning from inpatient, efficacy of staff training, and access to services for adults with disabilities.

.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children, gardening, hiking, singing (terribly), dancing, traveling, and learning new languages.
